The One When the Protomen Were on Warped Tour

Every year The Protomen come to Florida to play Nerdapalooza. They also usually throw in a few extra shows that of course we go to. But this year, there was no Nerdapalooza... so instead the Protomen did Warped tour which happened to come to three different cities in Florida. If you've never been to Warped tour I can sum it up in a few words. Hell on Earth. It's hot, disgusting, the bands only get to play for like 30-45 minutes and it's just not a place I enjoy. But for The Protomen (well I guess I should say for my husband) I put up with it. The fun part was I got to take pictures of these chill dudes outside for once, usually they're in the darkest night clubs they can find. I think I took too many pictures of Wiley this time, can there be such a thing though? It's not my fault he photographs like a teen heartthrob like rock star. You be the judge.

I'll end this with "I was a criminal on my honeymoon for you", "Kurkimillennium", and "unprotected eye fucking". We miss you Protomen!

Diagon Alley

This past weekend Steven and I were attending three Warped Tour dates to see The Protomen. One of the dates happened to be in Orlando and since they were only playing for 30 minutes, Steven suggested we go check out Diagon Alley. Now, anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd (read: psycho) but I had fully intended on waiting until the crowds died down a bit. We live in Florida and it's not a big deal to drive up to Universal for the day. HOWEVER, since he suggested it... how could I turn it down?! I'm so glad we went, it wasn't nearly as crowded as I thought it would be and the weather was actually really great. It was overcast most of the day so the heat was completely bearable, which says a lot coming from me because I'm a huge baby about the heat. The only real waiting around we did was for Escape from Gringotts because a) it's new and b) it broke down while we were in line. But besides that minor 4 hour delay, the day was wonderful and I'm so happy I got to experience it with my best friend.

I can't wait to go back in December! I already wish I had another butterbeer this morning.
